We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Agricultural Mechanics Teacher to join our two-person Ag Department. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead and grow a hands-on program in a well-equipped, well-funded shop, with an ideal teacher-to-student ratio that supports personalized, project-based learning. The ideal candidate will have high academic standards, excellent classroom management, and the vision to expand our ag mechanics offerings based on student interest and needs. Candidates should be well-qualified to teach a variety of welding and woodworking courses, as well as other ag mechanics topics. There is the opportunity to support and grow FFA, SAEs, and CDEs in collaboration with the Ag Science Teacher, allowing for meaningful student engagement across multiple facets of the agricultural program. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about developing real-world, hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for a variety of opportunities upon graduation.
Requirements / Qualifications
Preliminary or Professional Clear Agriculture Credential, preferred CTE credential in agriculture with industry experience. Authorization (CLAD). Offers of employment subject to: Valid California Driver’s License, fingerprint clearance, and negative TB clearance.
