We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Scraper Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate heavy earth-moving equipment, primarily scrapers, to facilitate excavation, construction grading, and utility work on various construction sites. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality results efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and equipment procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate scraper machinery safely and efficiently to perform excavation, grading, and utility work on construction sites
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment such as Caterpillar scrapers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks to ensure optimal performance
- Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times during operation.
- Adhere to construction site experience protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and scrapers
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and safety procedures for heavy equipment operation
- Construction site experience with familiarity in excavation, grading, utility work, and general construction activities
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to safety compliance
