What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secondary Social Studies Teacher position at Shoreline Christian School?
Shoreline Christian School is accepting applications for a full time dynamic Secondary Social Studies Teacher to join our school’s community beginning the fall of 2026. Courses to be taught include: US HIstory, World History, Civics, Washington State History, Modern World HIstory, Current World Issues, World Geography/Culture. We offer medical, dental, vision, 403B, life insurance, and PTO. Salary for an experienced candidate for this position starts at $50,000 and up DOE.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Should have or be able to acquire valid Washington State teaching certificate
Content knowledge of subjects assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and solid classroom management skills
Strong communications, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Secondary Classroom experience required
