What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN/LPN position at Shore Pointe Care Center?
Shore Pointe Care Center is looking to hire reliable and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate would be a nurse that is able to provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents on a daily basis.
We offer flexible scheduling with 8 hours shifts including morning, evening, and night positions
Working every other weekend is required, all shifts are available
New Grad's Welcome - Willing to train.
Responsibilities:
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
- Assist patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
Qualifications:
- LPN/RN licensed in the State of New Jersey
- Long-Term/Skilled Nursing Facility Experience Preferred
- Familiarity with PCC
