Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering appliances to customers, installing and repairing appliances, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in appliance repair, mechanical systems, and field service, with the ability to operate box trucks safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Safely deliver appliances to residential and commercial customers using a box truck
- Install, assemble, and set up appliances according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Perform appliance repairs, including refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues and execute repairs
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and repair tasks on appliances and related systems
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, usage, and maintenance tips
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during delivery and installation processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics
- Delivery driver experience with a clean driving record; ability to operate box trucks safely
- Knowledge of assembly procedures for various appliances
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for daily routes
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Applicants must have their own hand tools. If you do not have the proper tools we can supply the required tools and process a payroll deduct.
- All applicants should have a valid DOT medical card
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
