Now Hiring: CNC Milling Shop Manager
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for machining? We’re looking for an experienced CNC Milling Shop Manager to take charge of daily operations, drive production efficiency, and lead a skilled team to success.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily CNC milling operations to ensure high-quality, on-time production
- Manage scheduling, production targets, and shop performance metrics
- Mentor and develop operators and set-up machinists to reach their full potential
- Optimize workflows, tooling, and setups for maximum efficiency
- Operate and oversee Haas VMCs and our Fanuc-controlled bridge mill, ensuring peak performance and accuracy
- Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with management and engineering teams to improve processes and productivity
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of CNC milling experience, with leadership or supervisory background
- Expertise in operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and programming CNC milling centers
- Strong knowledge of G-code, tooling, machining processes, CAD/CAM software, and blueprint reading
- Experience with using an ERP system, or ability to learn quickly. (Epicor experience a plus!)
- Proven ability to lead teams, meet production goals, and solve problems
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to go the extra mile
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed
- Manual dexterity to operate machinery, tools, and measuring equipment
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, metal chips, coolants, and varying temperatures
