The Seagate Hotel & Spa is seeking a Night Auditor to join our luxury resort team. This overnight position is responsible for front desk operations and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and extensive experience in cash handling.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all Guest Service Agent (GSA) duties during the overnight shift.
- Ensure all cash banks are counted, controlled, and balanced accurately.
- Review guest check-outs to ensure payments match final balances.
- Record daily totals of credit card purchases and deposits.
- Verify outstanding credit card authorizations.
- Record all direct billings and ensure each has a reference number for tracking.
- Verify outstanding ledger balances for direct billings.
- Verify advance deposits for future reservations.
- Post charges to guest accounts accurately.
- Run required reports on the property management system.
- Close out daily activities and prepare Room Revenue Report according to Night Auditor procedures.
- Prepare Daily Revenue Report, copy, and distribute according to procedures.
- Balance charges between call accounting end-of-day report and property management system report; reconcile any discrepancies.
- Prepare AM room status report and perform closing procedures.
- Ensure resolution of guest issues and follow-up.
- Post signage for banquet rooms and schedule of events at the front desk.
- Execute concierge duties as outlined in Front Desk Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Understand and adhere to security procedures and emergency equipment protocols.
- Inform managers of exceptional guest service actions by colleagues.
- Report any suspicious persons or activities to management.

- Understand and fulfill guest requests promptly and creatively.
- Maintain a friendly and patient demeanor, even during extended hours.
- Handle multiple requests with accuracy and efficiency.
- Understand and comply with The Seagate Hotel's policies.
Physical Requirements/Other:
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift, carry, and push up to fifty pounds.
- Push carts weighing up to 250 pounds
