Drive trolley, SUV, sedan, or lightweight truck to transport guests, clients, company personnel, or supplies in a safe manner as directed.
Driver Responsibilities:
- Required to be able to work varying schedules from time to time. All employees are required to attend all scheduled training and departmental sessions
- Arrive in the assigned work area on time in full, clean pressed assigned uniform for scheduled shift
- Perform and complete any and all assigned tasks by management.
- Be totally familiar with hotel operations/locations and be able to direct guest and answer guest questions of general facility
- Open doors and assist passengers into and out of vehicles
- Load and unload luggage and supplies
- Operate communication device with a base station
- Clean and service vehicle with fuel, fluids, and lubricants, and accessories
- Keep a log of trips and guest comments report/submit all to the concierge
- Assist Bell person and Doorperson as needed
- Must possess a current and clean Florida Drivers Licenses
- Adhere to all Seagate safety standards
- Assist in maintaining a high moral level displaying a positive attitude at all times
Ability To:
- Communicate in English in a clear, concise pleasant, and sincere manner
- Understand requests and correctly, creatively, and expediently carry them out
- Be outgoing, friendly, and patient
- Handle multiple requests with poise, accuracy, and timeliness
- Understand and practice the policies of The Seagate Hotel & Spa
- Use good judgment at all times
- Work long hours when necessary and flexible with schedule. Be able to work weekends, nights, holidays as necessary
- Stand, sit, walk for extend hours, Lift, carry and push up to fifty plus pounds
