Essential Functions
- Own cycle counting program execution for assigned warehouse and associated technician vans, including daily, weekly, and monthly counts in accordance with established procedures
- Investigate inventory discrepancies within assigned location, perform root cause analysis, and execute corrective actions to maintain high inventory accuracy
- Reconcile inventory variances through ERP/WMS transactions, adjustments, and documentation in accordance with company policy
- Maintain accurate system records, ensuring all inventory movements (receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and adjustments) within assigned warehouse and vans are properly recorded in Microsoft Dynamics or applicable systems
- Coordinate and support annual physical inventory processes for assigned location, including preparation, execution, reconciliation, and audit support
- Identify, segregate, and disposition damaged, deteriorated, or nonconforming inventory within assigned warehouse within 2 business days of identification; ensure timely and accurate system removal
- Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain leadership to identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory within assigned location; support disposition strategies such as returns, transfers, markdowns, or scrap
- Monitor inventory health metrics (accuracy, aging, excess/obsolete stock, shrinkage) for assigned warehouse and vans; escalate risks and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct routine audits of bin locations, labeling, and technician van inventory tied to assigned warehouse to ensure compliance with SOPs
- Support FIFO practices, proper slotting, and inventory organization within assigned warehouse to reduce obsolescence and improve picking efficiency
- Collaborate with Material Handlers and Leads to reinforce inventory control best practices during receiving, putaway, picking, and shipping activities
- Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to inventory control and cycle counting
- Maintain ASEC/5S housekeeping standards, ensuring inventory is organized, labeled, and stored safely within assigned facility
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and waste reduction within assigned location
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling
- Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and root cause analysis preferred
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
- High attention to detail and accuracy are paramount
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across warehouse, procurement, and operations teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
