Job Summary

Duties
- Safely operate landscape equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, power tools, excavators, and other machinery to perform mowing, trimming, planting, and hardscape installation.
- Drive company trucks and trailers to transport crew members, tools, materials, and equipment to various project sites efficiently.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, tree trimming, shrubbery pruning, irrigation system installation and repair, and snow plowing during winter months.
- Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites with hand tools or excavators, installing hardscape features like patios or walkways, and performing general site cleanup.
- Maintain the proper use of hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols; perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscape projects that meet client specifications and quality standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for everyone on site.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating landscaping machinery and hand tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, irrigation systems, or snow plowing enhances your fit for this role.
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles or gardening practices is a plus.
- Experience working with construction or hardscape installation projects is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude is essential.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for operating company vehicles safely.
