We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
-Take customer orders accurately using POS
-Process cash and card transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and basic math skills
-Provide friendly and attentive customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
-Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety
-Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or new offerings
-Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness and sanitation duties
-Support kitchen staff with basic prep work when required
-Make sure all serving dishes and areas are sanitary
-Ensure all food safety protocols are followed consistently
-Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently
-Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
Experience
- -Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant preferred but not required
- -Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- -Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math enhances performance in this role
- -Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is advantageous
- -Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- -Experience working in cafes, grocery stores, or the food industry is beneficial but not mandatory
