Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently and safely
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain hygiene standards in all kitchen areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the culinary team, including ingredient handling and setup
- Clear and reset tables promptly to support smooth dining operations and guest satisfaction
- Manage heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, and trash to ensure a clean and organized workspace
- Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas
- Support kitchen health and safety standards by adhering to proper manual handling techniques and safety protocols
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
- Experience with dishwashing techniques and operating commercial kitchen equipment
