About the Role
SHOE-INN is seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This paid internship is based out of our Hamptons locations, with the opportunity to create content at three of the area's most recognized footwear boutiques during peak summer season. You'll work directly with our e-commerce and marketing team to produce engaging content using our in-store product, Hamptons energy, and curated summer collections.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce compelling social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Capture product photography and video in-store across our East Hampton, Southampton, and Westhampton Beach locations
- Monitor and report on social media trends and content performance to inform strategy
- Interact with our online community to foster brand affinity and positive sentiment
- Assist in identifying and collaborating with influencers and content creators to expand reach
- Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Business Management, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management or content creation
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt to a luxury boutique brand voice
- Creative thinker with a passion for fashion and the footwear industry
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of photo and video editing software is a plus
- Ability to travel between Hamptons store locations as needed
