We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to support enterprise systems and applications in a mission-critical environment. This role focuses on infrastructure architecture, data integration, cloud platforms, and system design to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient IT solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in hybrid cloud environments, system architecture, data modeling, and infrastructure design, along with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and coordinate system data models to enable data sharing, reduce redundancy, and improve efficiency
Provide technical guidance to project managers for project planning and execution
Develop and enforce data classification policies and standards
Create and maintain metadata repositories, data structures, and data flow diagrams
Design, maintain, and validate system-level architecture
Define and enforce data standards to ensure integrity, quality, and security
Develop enterprise-level information architecture models
Maintain statewide/enterprise data models for integrated application usage
Manage configuration management processes and standards
Ensure compliance with security standards and document application controls
Support data integration across internal and external systems
Lead infrastructure consolidation, migration, and integration initiatives
Gather and manage technical requirements and issues
Provide recommendations for software integration and infrastructure improvements
Develop data management strategies for security and retention
Facilitate technical design and solution discussions
Analyze infrastructure changes for feasibility and cost-effectiveness
Review and align solutions with enterprise architecture patterns and standards
Validate technical designs, documentation, and architecture integrity
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) administration
5 years of experience with Windows Server in enterprise environments
3 years of experience with SQL (querying and database support)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud)
5 years of experience in technical documentation and system design artifacts
3 years of Network Administration experience
Experience with container platforms (Kubernetes and/or OpenShift)
Experience using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io for architecture diagrams
Exposure to application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss)
Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server database architectures
Experience securing networks, web applications, and databases
Working knowledge of scripting/programming (C#, Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Veracode)
Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
Experience with web servers (IIS, Apache) and WAF technologies
Experience with Cloudflare or similar platforms
