Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Social Media Marketing Specialist role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The specialist will create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to highlight menu items, events, and the overall guest experience. Daily tasks include capturing photos and short videos on-site, writing captions, monitoring comments and messages, and responding to audience interactions in a professional and timely manner. The role involves collaborating with restaurant management to align content with promotions, seasonal offerings, and branding guidelines, as well as tracking basic performance metrics to suggest improvements. The specialist will also stay current with social media trends and propose ideas that can attract new guests and strengthen the restaurant’s online presence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation, with experience managing brand profiles on major platforms.
- Understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles, including audience targeting and basic campaign optimization.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written communication for captions and professional interaction with online audiences and on-site team members.
- Ability to capture and edit photos and short-form videos using mobile devices or basic editing tools.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting posting schedules, and comfort working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Prior experience in hospitality, restaurants, or food & beverage marketing is preferred but not required.
- Availability to work on-site during key dining hours, events, and weekends as needed.
COMPENSATION $25.00–$30.00 hourly, based on experience
