The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our warehouse facilities. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products. At Shipping Pilot, every team member contributes to our shared goal of delivering accurate, on-time service to our customers. Whether you’re organizing inventory, preparing shipments, or assisting with process improvements, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our operations running efficiently and maintaining the high standards our clients depend on. This is a full-time position operating Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3pm.

Whether you’re organizing inventory, preparing shipments, or assisting with process improvements, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our operations running efficiently and maintaining the high standards our clients depend on. This is a full-time position operating Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3pm.
Daily Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, stock checks, and reconciliations. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and locations.
- Order Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from inventory according to pick tickets or instructions. Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment at all times. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to equipment or inventory.
- Assistance with Special Projects: Collaborate with team members and supervisors on special projects, such as warehouse reorganizations, process improvements, or inventory optimization initiatives.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and record inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift and carry objects, boxes, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds without risking injury.
- Must be capable of spending extended periods walking and standing on the warehouse floor.
- Good manual dexterity to handle tools, equipment, and small items. Ability to use a computer, scanner, or other electronic devices efficiently.
- Physical Endurance: Demonstrated physical endurance to handle long hours and high-stress situations, ensuring sustained productivity and efficiency throughout the workday.
