Shipmasters Pack & Ship is a veteran-owned, customer-focused pack and ship center serving the Gulf Coast community. We help customers compare shipping options, pack items safely, print documents, rent mailboxes, and access convenient business services.
We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented team member to help customers at the front counter and support daily store operations.
Responsibilities
The Pack & Ship Store Associate will assist customers with shipping, packaging, printing, mailbox services, Amazon returns, and general customer service. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with people, using a computer, handling packages, and keeping the store organized.
Duties include:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional manner
- Compare shipping options through UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, and other carriers
- Pack customer items securely and accurately
- Process drop-offs, returns, labels, and shipments
- Assist with printing, copying, scanning, and document services
- Help customers with mailbox rentals and business services
- Keep the store clean, organized, and stocked
- Follow store procedures for cash handling and customer transactions
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to lift packages up to 40–50 lbs
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Retail, shipping, printing, or office experience is a plus but not required
Compensation
Starting pay: $13/hour, based on experience.
Pay: $13.00 - $22.00 per hour
