Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Master Electrician located in Central Pennsylvania. Our home location is York, PA, but this position will cover our commercial & residential clients in our whole geographical range from Southeastern PA, Central PA and Northern Maryland.
Requirements:
- Master Electrician License
- 8 years’ experience in commercial or residential installation and service
- Ability to pull permits
- Proficient at reading and understanding schematics and blueprints
- Able to be on the “on call” schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver’s license: Travel will be required throughout Shipley’s geographic coverage in Southeastern/Central PA and Northern MD while in a Shipley provided work vehicle
Responsibilities:
- Install, diagnose, and repair any commercial and residential electrical wiring and components (Generac Generator Install Experience preferred)
- Complete all paperwork according to company procedure and submit daily
- Diagnosing and submitting part orders for customers, only with approval
- Provide all customers with consistent, quality service in accordance with company procedure
- Complete job assignments according to plans and in compliance with all codes and standards
- Positively promoting the company’s products and services, developing equipment leads and selling service contracts
- Assist other team members to achieve maximum success, safety, and efficiency
- Maintain required truck inventory as audited
- Maintain a neat appearance in proper, clean uniform always, as well as your work vehicle
- Perform all duties in a safe manner ensuring incident-free operations
- Report any incident or accident as soon as possible to the General Manager and office
- Maintain all certified testing equipment in proper working order and report any deficiencies
