Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Baker to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shift operations, ensuring all staff are performing their duties efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff members in areas such as customer service, food preparation, and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with budgeting to maintain profitability.
- Utilize Aloha POS systems for order management, payment processing, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including kitchen areas.
Experience
- Proven experience in shift management within a restaurant or fine dining environment.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is preferred.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Experience in staff training and development is highly desirable.
