Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to engage with customers and promote our products will be key to enhancing their shopping experience.

Duties

• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure a well-organized shopping environment.
• Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and provide change as necessary.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, ensuring compliance with store policies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and improve overall customer experience.

Skills

• Proficient in retail math and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Experience operating a cash register and handling cash transactions.
• Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Knowledge of stock management practices to assist in inventory control.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.
• Ability to perform product demos confidently, showcasing features effectively.
