ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented and organized Photo Retoucher to join our Creative team. The Photo Retoucher role is a perfect blend of amplifying our brand image through creative editing, and project management skills to ensure projects stay on track and organized. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Retouching assets from photographers, ensuring accurate representation of products using a variety of techniques: image cleanup and adjustments, clipping paths, color correction, sizing, and output.
- Work closely with photographer senior retoucher to create imagery that accurately represents the product and maintains current quality standards that help define Shinola’s brand image as well as a seamless workflow from approved asset handoff to final image delivery.
- Participate in image reviews, follow approval processes with deliverables from upper management, and meet all internal deadlines.
- Prioritize projects within retouching queue, translating requests into actionable tasks and helping schedule them out appropriately.
- Organize and maintain a user-friendly Creative server DAM system (Canto) and disperse final assets to internal teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute projects quickly and efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Helicon Focus, Microsoft Suite, Canto, Figma, Asana, and Capture One Pro.
- Utilization of AI when applicable.
- Basic camera and lighting knowledge.
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
