What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at Shining Star Child Development Center?
Looking to hire another Infant Teacher as we keep growing. This is a full time position In the older infant classroom. Must be very reliable and flexible at times. The ratio is 1:4. Or 1:5. Must be comfortable to tend to ages 1 year to 18 months.
Experience preferred, but willing to train the right person. Diapering, feeding, cleaning, daily sheets, parent communication and following a schedule is required. Each infant is on a different schedule, so multitasking is key. Most importantly, you must possess the passion to make a difference in a child’s life. Parent communication is key. CPR / First Aid certified is a plus, but will pay for certification if needed.
30 hours of training yearly will be provided. All Federal holidays off, 2 weeks vacation, accrued PTO, monthly bonus, Monday - Friday schedule to work with a great group of people in a Home away from home atmosphere.
