Essential Functions:

1) Codes, tests, and debugs documents, and installs both new programs/technologies and changes to existing programs/technologies.

2) Supports and assists employees in troubleshooting and maintenance of the computer network and hardware systems.

3) Defines application problems, determines system specifications, and makes recommendations for modification, corrections and improvements to existing software applications.

4) Provides information technology implementation services for special assignments, working individually or within a project team.

5) Conducts data verification and testing methods for system procedures or new or modified applications.

6) May maintain database systems and be responsible for back-up and recovery.

7) Performs duties in support of the company’s certifications (example: ISO and FDA/QSR).

8) Assists team members with various tasks.

Secondary Functions:

1) Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

2) Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

1) Ability to program computer and install new programs

2) Working knowledge of web-based programming, C Sharp programming and database administration

3) Competency in computer systems, including MS Word and MS Excel

4) Good mechanical reasoning and working knowledge of assembly techniques

5) Troubleshooting, analytical and diagnostic skills

6) Good project management skills

7) Solve problems while using creativity, analytical skills, and independent judgement

8) Decision-making and use of discretion

9) Ability to effectively train others in job-related skills

10) Ability to perform basic math

11) Work effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and managers

12) Maintain flexibility within an international corporation

Job Conditions:

Normal production floor conditions with occasional exposure to office environment.

Working a minimum of 40 hours per week is expected. May require working more than 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of the job.


Physical Requirements:

Constant: Sitting or standing, use of hands, wrists and fingers for writing and keyboarding, grasping parts and using hand tools, hearing/listening, talking, lifting and carrying 35 lbs. or less. Occasional: Walking, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity to be able to read printed documents and computer screens.

Education & Experience:

Associate’s in computer science or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum 1 years’ experience using programming languages, computer networking, web and database development using C-Sharp, HTML, Java Script and MySQL (1-3 years’ experience preferred)
