Salary commensurate with experience: $24.03 to $26.44 (Hourly / Non-Exempt)
Full Time: Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Overview:
The Employment Specialist supports CalWORKs participants in achieving vocational goals through individualized job search, placement, and training services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver employment support services, including job readiness, resume building, mock interviews, and vocational assessments.
- Maintain a caseload of 5–30 participants, providing at least 22 hours of direct participant services per week (55% of a 40-hour week).
- Collaborate with community partners and employers to expand job opportunities and training resources.
- Conduct ongoing vocational meetings and track participant progress toward employment.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with agency and DMH standards.
- Adhere to the Supported Employment Evidence-Based Practice Model; attend required trainings and supervision.
- Serve as a liaison with DPSS and represent the agency at community job fairs and events.
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience working with individuals with a history of difficulty obtaining long term employment required.
- A valid California driver's license is required for this position, as driving is an essential function of the role and is required for field work, client crisis response and emergencies. A valid car insurance and registration is required.
