Experienced Painter

Shield Insulation is seeking an experienced Residential Painter to join our growing painting division. While Shield Insulation is well known for spray foam insulation, our painting services have rapidly expanded, and we’re looking for skilled painters who take pride in their work and value professionalism, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers
• Mix paints and stains to achieve desired colors and finishes
• Perform caulking, minor plastering, and trim work
• Work on ladders and at heights up to 32 feet
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and homeowners
• Deliver high-quality finishes on residential projects

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of residential painting experience
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Punctual, coachable, and motivated
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency
