Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and maintain punctuality
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving goods within the facility, and organizing shipments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records for accountability
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and customer interaction
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with
drivers preferred - Ability to operate box trucks with manual transmission confidently
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform heavy lifting tasks safely
- Excellent driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
