As a Hospital Security Officer, you will play an essential role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, healthcare professionals, and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence throughout the hospital.
- Help ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, employees, and hospital property.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents.
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas.
- Monitor access points and assist with authorized entry.
- Provide escorts and assistance to hospital personnel, patients, and visitors as needed.
- Investigate incidents and complete accurate, detailed reports.
- Maintain daily activity logs and security documentation.
- Follow established hospital policies, safety procedures, and security protocols.
- Work collaboratively with hospital staff, emergency responders, and fellow security officers.
- Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and excellent communication skills in challenging situations.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain a Tennessee Armed Security Guard Registration.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Must be able to remain calm and exercise sound judgment during stressful situations.
- Must be willing to follow established security procedures and hospital policies.
- Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience is preferred but not required.
