We’re seeking experienced Skilled Laborers with a strong background in construction, traffic control, or pavement markings. If you have at least 3 years of construction experience, are confident in your ability to lead safe and efficient work zones, and are ready for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices according to project specs and DOT standards
Lead or assist in overseeing temporary traffic control on active job sites
Safely operate trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment (manual and automatic)
Install, maintain, and repair traffic signs and other control devices
Complete daily documentation and quantity tracking
Communicate clearly with your crew and supervisors
Train and guide entry-level crew members when needed
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of traffic control or general construction experience
Valid Driver’s License (CDL Preferred But Not Required)
Ability to read and interpret traffic control plans
Strong understanding of traffic safety standards (MUTCD, OSHA, DOT, etc.)
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work nights and Saturdays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Flagger certification(s) or ability to obtain
Experience operating message boards, arrow boards, or crash attenuators
Familiarity with quantity sheets and daily reporting
