SHIBA Express is an expanding transportation and logistics company looking for a reliable and motivated Loader to assist with day-to-day warehouse and freight operations. This position is ideal for someone who prioritizes safety, has the physical capability for hands-on work, and can perform effectively in a fast-moving environment. The Loader plays a key role in ensuring all shipments are handled accurately, secured properly, and processed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload freight, packages, and materials
- Arrange, stack, and secure cargo to minimize the risk of damage during transit
- Support the sorting and staging of shipments for outgoing and incoming deliveries
- Adhere to company safety standards and warehouse procedures at all times
- Examine shipments for any damage and notify supervisors of issues
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Collaborate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors to meet daily operational goals
- Operate basic warehouse tools such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50–75 lbs)
- Prior warehouse or loading experience is an advantage, but not required
- Strong focus on accuracy, safety, and detail
- Capable of working both independently and within a team
- Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends when necessary
