Who we are
We are a general contractor specializing in design build, healthcare, and civil work for federal clients. Our recent portfolio includes hospital renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and specialized facility builds for the Veterans Administration and other federal agencies. We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and we operate on three principles that are not just words on a wall: honesty, integrity, and fairness.
What you will do
You will own projects from preconstruction through closeout | managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and federal compliance while keeping the client confident and the crew aligned. You will be the person who makes complex, high stakes work run smoothly. Specifically, you will:
- Lead federal and healthcare construction projects, often occupied and phase sensitive, from award to turnover
- Manage budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedules with a sharp eye on cost and quality
- Serve as the primary point of contact for federal contracting officers, design teams, and subcontractors
- Ensure full compliance with federal contracting requirements, safety standards, and quality control programs
- Mentor project engineers and field staff, building the bench as we grow
What you bring
- 5 years of project management experience in commercial, healthcare, or federal construction
- A track record delivering government or institutional projects on time and on budget
- Working knowledge of federal contracting, and ideally VA, GSA, or similar agency experience
- Fluency in the tools of the trade | Procore, MS Project or Primavera, and the full submittal and RFI lifecycle
- The ability to earn trust with owners, inspectors, and tradespeople alike
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but real experience carries real weight
Why this role
- Competitive compensation of $150K to $200K, depending on experience
- Work that matters | you will help build and restore the spaces that serve veterans and the public
- A stable, growing federal contractor with a strong project pipeline
- A leadership team that lives by honesty, integrity, and fairness, not just a mission statement
- A seat at the table, not a cog in a machine | your judgment will shape how projects get built
