Geotechnical Project Manager (Remote, New England based preferred) $130,000 to $160,000 base bonuses


A leading geotechnical contractor in New England is hiring an experienced Geotechnical Project Manager to join its specialty division. This role sits at the intersection of estimating, sales, and project management, leading complex earth retention projects from early estimating through final proposal and negotiation.


This is a remote position. The team works in the office just one day per month, so you get real flexibility while staying connected to a group that genuinely leads in geotechnical innovation across the region.


What you will be doing:

Managing all phases of earth retention work, including secant and sheet pile walls, lagging, soil nailing, tiebacks, grouting, underpinning, helical piles, and drilled micro-piles. You will juggle multiple jobs at various stages, working independently with minimal supervision, and you will represent the firm at industry events and lunch and learns to support business development.


What we are looking for:

5 to 7 years of project management experience in geotechnical engineering, with a solid understanding of earth retention systems (secant walls, soil nailing, tiebacks, micro-piles). Strong interpersonal, time management, and problem solving skills are essential. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, a master's in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred, and a PE is a plus.


Candidates based in New England are preferred.

Base salary is $130,000 to $160,000 depending on experience.
