A growing boutique public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Audit & Attest Director to join its team. This role offers direct client exposure, end-to-end engagement ownership, and the opportunity to work with privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations across a range of industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead audit, review, compilation, and other attest engagements from planning through completion
- Oversee related tax compliance for clients, including business, nonprofit, and passthrough returns
- Serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor
- Review financial statements and disclosures in accordance with GAAP
- Manage engagement timelines, workflow, and deliverables
- Identify accounting, reporting, and tax considerations and communicate recommendations to clients
- Supervise, review, and mentor staff
Qualifications
- 8 years of public accounting experience
- Active CPA license
- Strong experience leading audit and attest engagements
- Experience with small to middle market clients, including privately held companies and nonprofits
- Working knowledge of tax compliance
- Strong communication and client management skills

Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
