About Us

At Sherwin-Williams, we believe great projects begin with great people. As a forward-thinking organization dedicated to innovation and collaboration, we help businesses bring their ideas to life — on time and on budget. Our team is made up of passionate professionals who thrive in a remote-first culture built on trust, transparency, and continuous growth.

We’re looking for an experienced and highly organized Remote Project Manager to join our growing team. If you’re a natural leader who excels at managing multiple priorities, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery, this is the opportunity for you.

Position Overview

The Remote Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of a variety of projects across the organization. This role requires strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and team members to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, meet quality standards, and align with company objectives.

As the key point of contact for project coordination, you’ll translate business needs into actionable plans, monitor progress, and manage resources effectively — all while fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, define timelines, and establish clear deliverables to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with various departments — including design, operations, marketing, and development — to align goals and maintain clear communication throughout all project stages.
  • Timeline & Budget Management: Track project milestones, deliverables, and expenses to ensure all projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients and team members, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early on, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress, evaluate results, and ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with internal standards.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review project management practices to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and quality across teams.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and guide team members to perform at their best while maintaining a positive, solution-focused attitude.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or Monday.com. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Organization & Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to anticipating and resolving challenges.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with change and capable of navigating ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing projects in industries such as technology, marketing, or professional services.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Prior experience in client-facing project management roles.
  • Strong understanding of remote collaboration best practices and tools.

Why Join Sherwin-Williams?

  • Fully Remote Work: Enjoy the flexibility and freedom to work from anywhere.

  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and a supportive environment that promotes personal well-being.
  • Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary, performance-based incentives, and benefits.
