Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney located in Omaha, NE. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, drafting legal documents, negotiating on behalf of clients, and representing clients in labor, employment, and civil litigation matters. Other daily responsibilities include preparing for hearings, trials, and appeals, as well as maintaining client relationships to provide effective legal support.
Salary is negotiable and is based on experience.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Law, with a focus on Civil Litigation
- Strong skills in providing detailed and strategic Legal Advice
- Proficiency in conducting thorough Legal Research and developing case strategies
- Experience in Negotiation and resolving disputes effectively
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in Nebraska, or eligibility for admission
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Experience with appellate law is a strong advantage
