Senior Associate Attorney — Commercial Litigation & Business Law Horgan Law LLC | Omaha, Nebraska
Horgan Law LLC is a growing boutique firm in Omaha seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join our commercial litigation and business law practice. We represent businesses and entrepreneurs in high stakes disputes, complex transactions, and corporate matters. We work hard, handle sophisticated matters, and expect our attorneys to deliver.
The Role
This is a substantive senior level position. You will carry your own docket of commercial litigation and business law matters, supervise junior associates, and engage directly with clients and opposing counsel. You will not be siloed into document review or discovery support. You will own your matters.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Nebraska, Iowa, or surrounding bar license (or eligibility for admission)
- 5 or more years of commercial litigation, business litigation, or corporate/transactional experience
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring junior attorneys or legal staff
- Strong written advocacy and courtroom or hearing experience
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently with minimal oversight
Preferred
- Strong client relations and service oriented
- Comfort with both litigation and transactional work
- Familiarity with federal and state court practice
