Accounting Operations & Ownership
- Manage and maintain QuickBooks Online, including the general ledger and accounting structure.
- Manage monthly and annual financial close and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze P&L and financial reports.
- Maintain and reconcile labor costs and allocations by market/region and service line.
- Investigate discrepancies between payroll, operational reporting, QuickBooks, and the P&L.
- Document and maintain the Company's financial reporting and labor-allocation processes.
- Process and reconcile payroll and coordinate with AP/AR lead.
- Monitor accounting accuracy, controls, and financial records.
- Work with the Company's external accounting firm on quarterly reviews, tax matters, and other accounting needs.
- Provide financial information and analysis to the President/CEO and leadership. ?Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience: 3 years of progressive experience blending accounting and FP&A in a small-medium size business
- Confident in leading ME-close running payroll function
- Technical Skills: QuickBooks Online advanced in Microsoft Excel GAAP Knowledge
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail for the accounting side big-picture strategic thinking for the finance side with the
- Ability to lead 2-3 direct reports
