Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

Compensation: $22/hr

Job Overview – Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk – 34403

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join its accounting team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering approximately 20–25 hours per week in a collaborative, low-stress office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior accounts payable or general accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the flexibility to assist with administrative support as needed.

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process payments while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service.
• Provide backup reception and scheduling support as needed.
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Previous Accounts Payable or general accounting experience required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software is preferred; training will be provided on the company's system.
