Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Support the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of business results.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and communicate key business drivers and risks to leadership.
- Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Manage and monitor SG&A and departmental spending, including monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Partner with department leaders to review financial results, explain variances, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare consolidated reporting packages and executive-level financial summaries for management review.
- Deliver ad hoc financial modeling, analysis, and business case support for strategic initiatives.
- Develop strong relationships across finance and operational teams to enhance collaboration and financial transparency.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Partner with finance systems and digital teams to enhance reporting capabilities, automate processes, and expand the use of dashboards and self-service analytics tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial close, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Lead and support efforts to standardize reporting, harmonize processes, and improve data quality across the organization.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering, accounting, or related finance functions.
- Strong understanding of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key financial performance drivers.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- CPA and/or MBA.
- Experience with ERP and financial planning systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, CPM's, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or complex business environments.
- Demonstrated success driving automation, process improvements, and reporting enhancements.
- Strong financial acumen and business partnership skills.
- Ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- The capability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
