Travel Requirement: Up to 25% Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required Citizenship: US Citizens required Sherpa 6, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrator supporting a U.S. Air Force unit within Air Mobility Command (AMC). This position requires the candidate to work embedded directly with the unit, supporting integration, modernization, and operational employment of mission systems and C4ISR technologies across AMC mission sets. As a Systems Integrator, the selected candidate will work closely with unit leadership, Air Force stakeholders, and external program offices to ensure seamless integration of current and future systems in support of operational mobility missions. Responsibilities: * Support the unit by coordinating integration efforts with vendors, program offices, and Air Force stakeholders. * Attend and lead technical meetings; compile and distribute meeting notes to internal and external partners. * Assist with synchronization and integration of systems during fielding, exercises, and operational employment. * Support acquisition-related activities and documentation. * Maintain awareness of military, government, and commercial technologies relevant to AMC and C4ISR mission requirements. * Integrate new equipment with existing systems for demonstrations, evaluations, and operational testing. * Assist in developing equipment specifications, standards, and requirements between vendors and Air Force program offices. * Conduct training on assigned systems; provide context on operational use cases and capabilities. * Configure wideband and narrowband tactical radios used within AMC operations. * Identify discrepancies, anomalies, and defects in systems submitted for evaluation. Requirements * Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in engineering, information technology, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a similar technical or integration role.
- Should have Air Mobility Command experience (operational, technical, or support roles).
- Strong background with network architectures and hardware configuration.
- Experience administering Linux and other server systems.
- Military experience or strong understanding of Air Force TTPs, especially within AMC mission sets.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot system and network design issues.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with RDT&E processes across government organizations.
- Understanding of government procurement processes.
- Understanding of tactical and mobility-focused communications systems.
- Past affiliation with operational Air Force units, Special Operations, or joint mobility organizations.
- Ability to configure routers, switches, and bridge disparate networks.
- Experience with certificate management and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with industry-standard audio/video systems.
- Knowledge of military and commercial satellite communication systems.
- Knowledge of commercial and tactical cellular systems.
- Strong adaptability to dynamic operational environments.
Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
