Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inventory of existing merchandise stock, ensuring accurate records and organization.
- Analyze historical merchandise sales data (e.g., 2026 season) to identify trends, best-selling items, slow-moving products, and opportunities for growth.
- Assist in the research and development of new merchandise concepts and product lines for the upcoming 2027 season, considering fan preferences and market trends.
- Support the planning and execution of seasonal merchandise campaigns, including the holiday season, from concept to promotion.
- Assist with the day-to-day management and maintenance of the team's official online store, including product listings, inventory updates, and order fulfillment support.
- Research potential merchandise vendors, compare pricing, evaluate product quality, and assist in supplier relationship management.
- Contribute to strategies aimed at enhancing the online shopping experience and increasing e-commerce sales.
- Provide administrative support to the merchandise department as needed, including preparing reports and presentations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in inventory management and data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) or inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
