Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an engaging offseason content calendar across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
- Create compelling content featuring player updates, alumni spotlights, and behind-the-scenes glimpses.
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of sponsor recognition posts, ensuring partners receive prominent visibility.
- Generate community-focused content, highlighting local initiatives, fan interactions, and team events.
- Produce and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) to increase engagement and reach.
- Support the development and deployment of email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor social media trends, track key performance indicators (engagement rates, follower growth), and provide regular reports.
- Actively contribute to strategies designed to build excitement and anticipation for the upcoming Season 4.
- Assist the marketing team with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., graphic design software, video editing apps) is a plus.
- Creative mindset with an eye for compelling visuals and engaging storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for sports and a desire to learn about the sports marketing industry.
