Education
High school diploma or general education degree
6 months’ experience in manufacturing environment
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Perform basic mathematical calculations at a high school level. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving root cause and corrective action analysis.

Summary:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Responsible for the setup, assembly or production of component parts into completed units adhering to the bill of materials and production documents
- Demonstrates fit up, installation of hydraulic and mechanical components, electrical wiring, plumbing, etc.
- Responsible for reading blue prints and schematics, handling necessary materials and hand tools
- Performs minor adjustments, repairs, or setups to equipment or machines under supervision
- Inspects parts by using visual inspection, gauges, tape measures, check fixtures, or other inspection equipment
- Performs a variety of assembly or production duties with minimal supervision
- Responsible to see that all company supplied tools used are placed into proper storage cabinets daily
- Assist quality in testing and other efforts as required
- Conduct rope winding as necessary
- Assist and maintains acceptable performance standards for assembly, production, quality, safety, and housekeeping
- Performs all other assigned duties as instructed by supervision
