Job Overview
Appalachian Equipment Solutions is a growing SANY dealership. Appalachian Equipment Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Road/Shop Mechanic to join our fast-growing team. As a Heavy Equipment Road/Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing customers' machines, handling road calls, performing in-shop repairs, assisting with parts set-up, and cleaning equipment. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation and customer satisfaction of our services.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair customer machines, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Handle road calls to provide on-site repair services.
- Perform in-shop repairs to maintain and refurbish equipment.
- Assist in setting up and organizing parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure it meets company standards and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Road/Shop Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the equipment repair industry.
- Certification in a related field or specialized training.
- Familiarity with various types of machinery and equipment.
