Sales Representative
Location: Liberty, MO (Kansas City Metro Area)

Job Summary
Sheridan is seeking a Sales Representative to identify and generate new sales prospects, develop new accounts, and contribute to the achievement of company sales goals. This position is based in the Kansas City metropolitan area with a location in Liberty, Missouri.
Responsibilities
A Typical Week May Include:
- Prospecting and developing new customer relationships.
- Identifying growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Working with customers to refine job specifications and develop estimates.
- Coordinating with estimating, customer service, manufacturing, credit, and other internal teams to support customer needs.
- Serving as the liaison between customers and manufacturing teams through project completion, invoicing, and payment.
- Coordinating responses to customer inquiries, including product samples and dummy books.
- Managing sales and service activities through HubSpot CRM.
- Attending customer meetings, business-related travel, marketing events, and special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Experience delivering customer-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong project management, coordination, relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within 120 miles of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of local manufacturing businesses.
- Knowledge of printing and binding processes and sales techniques.
- Understanding of electronic prepress applications, design, and color.
- Ability to work onsite from the Liberty, Missouri facility.
Travel Requirements:
- Frequent travel for client meetings, sales and marketing events, and company meetings.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed primarily in an office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment. This position involves prolonged computer use and primarily sedentary work, with occasional light physical activity as needed.
