Full-Time | Outpatient Setting | Community-Focused Care | Independent Health System
Scheduling:
● Monday–Friday outpatient schedule (7AM–5PM)
● Flexible options: choose (5) 8-hour days or (4) 10-hour days
● Balanced structure with clinical administrative time built into your week
● No production-based quotas (no RVUs) — focus on patients, not numbers
Compensation & Benefits:

What You’ll Do
● Build meaningful relationships with patients through comprehensive health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
● Perform routine and preventive care including screening exams and lab testing
● Prescribe medications, treatments, and lifestyle modifications tailored to individual needs
● Provide continuity of care through follow-up visits, referrals, and education
● Collaborate closely with a team of physicians, nurses, specialists, and local health resources
● Participate in community outreach and represent our clinic at local events
● Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinic standards

Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
● Minimum 1 year experience in a Primary Care setting (rural experience a plus)
● MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical school
● Completion of accredited residency and board certification in Primary Care or related field
● Licensed in the State of Michigan
● DEA and DPS certification for prescribing
● Passion for serving underserved populations and openness to MAT services
● Strong communication, collaboration, and patient education skills
