The Occupational Therapist at Sheridan Community Hospital & Clinics deliver care to outpatient, inpatient and Short-term Rehab Program (Swing Bed) patients. Occupational Therapists must provide quality patient care without unrealistic productivity demands. SCH & Clinics is a 22-bed hospital. The candidate must be a team player and flexible with scheduling. One year of experience in short term Rehab and/or Outpatient Therapy is desired.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver care to outpatient, inpatient, and Short-term Rehab Program (swing bed)
- Provide quality patient care without unrealistic productivity demands
- Team players and flexible with scheduling
- Participate in quality improvement projects. Attend training and meetings as required
- Maintains awareness of current quality and safety measures on the unit and follows guidelines or reporting measures to ensure safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
- Knowledge and skills in quality improvement and research methodologies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Other Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current State of Michigan Occupational Therapy License
- BLS Certification
- One year of experience in short term Rehab and/or Outpatient Therapy is desired
