CT/ X-Ray Technologist- PRN

Position: CT/X-Ray Technologist (Experience in CT or willing to train in CT) (New Grads Welcome!)

We are seeking a caring, dependable CT/X Ray Technologist to join our patient-centered team.  This is a crucial component of the practice.

The available position requires a technologist willing to perform general radiography, surgical C-Arm, CT, and other duties as necessary. Basic computer skills, EMR familiarity, effective communication skills, the ability to work independently and to conduct oneself in a professional setting are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicates to the patient the process that the patient will undergo.
• Provide quality control measures in the use of the CT/X-Ray equipment.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
• Complete all computer data entry requirements to assure timely completion and availability of study for physician.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Participate in quality improvement projects. Attend training and meetings as required
• Maintains awareness of current quality and safety measures on the unit and follows guidelines or reporting measures to ensure safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Knowledge and skills in quality improvement and research methodologies.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements:

• ARRT Registered or Registry eligible
• CT Experience ( Preferred, but not required)
• Basic Life Support
• Able to pass health/drug screening as required by federal guidelines for all healthcare workers (required)
