What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Coordinator position at Sheraton Greensboro/Koury Convention Center?
The Sheraton Greensboro now has an exciting opportunity in the Sales Department.
We are looking for a highly motivated go getter for a Sales Coordinator/Admin role.
This individual will assist the Sales team with all booked business.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Formatting and distributing proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence
- Providing support to the receptionist to ensure that all phone inquiries and leads are properly handled
- Performing general office duties to include filing, faxing, emailing, and copying
- Drafting, editing, and sending sales related documents to include proposals, contracts, and BEO's
- Assembling hotel information packets and promotional materials
- Handling guest inquiries about property facilities, amenities, entertainment, and special events
- Serving as an additional point of contact for clients
- Communicating with other hotel departments to ensure that all details and event specifications are met
- Previous hotel Sales Department experience is highly preferred
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Must have excellent communication and phone skills
- Should have the ability to work well independently and with a team
- Excellent computer skills are essential
- Must be able to thrive in a very busy work environment
