Role Description
The Banquet Manager will oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing banquet operations, maintaining high food and beverage standards, coordinating with clients to create memorable experiences, and leading the banquet team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Grand Rapids, MI. The Banquet Manager will also be involved in managing schedules and budgets while fostering a collaborative and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to ensure positive guest experiences
- Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, and other departments
- Proficiency in Food & Beverage operations to maintain high quality standards of service and experience
- Experience in Hiring and managing staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ability to manage budgets, organize events, and ensure seamless coordination
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team toward success
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus
