Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage front desk operations efficiently. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while ensuring accuracy in the booking system.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the guest experience.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records during night audits.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls efficiently while providing excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in promoting hotel services, including special packages or events.
- Running night audit on a daily basis as well as food and beverage reports.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices is an asset.
- Experience with night audit procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
