Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage front desk operations efficiently. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while ensuring accuracy in the booking system.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the guest experience.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records during night audits.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Utilize multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls efficiently while providing excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist in promoting hotel services, including special packages or events.
  • Running night audit on a daily basis as well as food and beverage reports.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices is an asset.
  • Experience with night audit procedures is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
